Return to L.A.
I have returned to Los Angeles, and I am driving a Red Chevy Cavalier. The car is confusing me. I spent a good 2 minutes feeling the inside of the drivers door looking for the button to open the window. The Cavalier has the full panel of buttons for the windows in the middle of the car. I can only imagine this is so that everyone in the car can screw with everyone else's windows.
Escape from L.A.
Has anyone ever seen 'Escape from L.A.'? Its pretty bad. For the most part, the plot is identical to that of 'Escape from New York'. I believe the creative process for 'L.A.' included liberal use of Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V, as well as a little bit of Find and Replace.
My own personal escape from L.A. occurs Thursday night at about 11:50 pm PDT. I am taking the 'red-eye'. Whenever I hear 'red-eye', I think of old cartoons where the characters at the saloon are picking their booze from behind the bar, and their choices include a bottle labeled, 'Red Eye' and one labeled 'XXX'. They always choose the 'Triple-Ex'.
New House
I have run out of time. I will talk about the move to the new house a bit later.
