Have you heard about the commercial blogs that are sprouting up? Gawker Media has several (some of dubious taste) that focus on places like New York, Los Angeles, and Washington DC. WIRED ran an article about it.

I found a blog that focuses on Chicago, its called GapersBlock, and I think its pretty interesting. If you're game, check it out.
